QR codes per site, class or event
Each site, class or event gets its own code, on a sign at the door or a screen. The code carries the context, so scanning the one outside Studio Two at six checks you into that class, not the gym in general.
Software
Scan, identify, check in, attendance for classes and events, visitors and contractors, with a live headcount and no app to install.
Superstack builds the QR check-in system NZ gyms, training providers and facilities teams use to know who is on site right now. People scan a code, confirm who they are, and appear on a live board. No app to install, no clipboard, and an evacuation list already current.
nobody knows who is here

Attendance is the feature. The live headcount is why the safety manager signs it off. Every module feeds one list, so the class roll, the visitor record and the evacuation list are the same data.

The visitor scans with their phone, a page opens, they type their name or tap it if they have been before, and they are in. First-timers answer the questions you set. Regulars take seconds. It is contactless check-in with nothing to download.

Visitors and contractors get their own flow: who they are visiting, which company, vehicle rego, and the site rules to accept. The host gets an arrival message. A contractor who signed in last week is recognised and skips to today's rules.

Some people cannot check in until a step is done. A new contractor watches the induction video and answers the questions before the check-in completes. The gate is a rule per site: the office needs nothing, the building site needs everything.

A board on the wall or a warden's phone shows who is on site, by area. When the alarm goes, the warden opens the evacuation list at the assembly point, ticks people off as they arrive, and sees who is unaccounted for.

Every scan is a record: who, where, when in, when out. A studio sees attendance per class and member, and spots the regular who has not been in for a month. A training provider exports the attendance register the funder asks for.

Where a visible badge matters, reception prints one on a label printer as the visitor checks in: name, company, host, photo, date. Members and regular contractors get a digital pass on their phone, which staff scan at the gate instead of typing.

Check-in reads the booking system. Scan into a class you booked and it matches the booking. Scan into one you didn't and it offers a spare place or the waitlist. A missing or expired waiver shows amber before they are through the door.
A member walks up to Studio Two, scans the code and taps her name. The system checks her booking and waiver, and she is on the live board before her bag is down. The exit scan logs her out, or the class end time does. The attendance report writes itself. Reception steps in only for an amber screen.
Your booking system tells check-in who is expected, and hears back who came. Waivers show their status at the door. The member portal shows attendance history. Twilio texts the host when a visitor arrives. Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 supply the staff directory.
Any system with an API connects. Click a logo to visit them.
AI is optional, and the live board works without it. We add it where it saves a manager a spreadsheet. See how we use AI and business process automation.
A walk-in matched to a booking under a nickname or partner's account.
The members who book and never scan in, before they cancel.
A monthly note on which classes grow, fade or fill by site.
Managers create codes, set the questions and induction content per site, watch the live board and run attendance and visitor reports in the web app. Reception prints badges from it.
Staff use the QR code check-in app to scan passes at a gate, mark walk-ins and carry the evacuation list to the assembly point. Instructors watch the roll fill as people scan.
Members and regular visitors log in to pre-register a visit, keep their digital pass and see their attendance. All three share one database, so a gate scan is on the live board at once.
A class check-in QR on every studio door, no roll to mark.

Quickest start
We customise the existing Superstack QR attendance system with your sites, codes, questions and induction content, which suits most gyms and offices.
Most common
We combine check-in with bookings, waivers, a member portal and compliance records in one platform, where training providers usually land.
Fully bespoke
A fully bespoke system for unusual sites: multi-tenant buildings, secure areas with access control, or a headcount that feeds an emergency service.
No. The QR code opens a web page from the phone's camera, and that page is the check-in. Visitors, contractors and attendees never install anything. Staff who scan passes or carry the evacuation list use a small staff app, and members can keep a digital pass in their phone's wallet.
Yes. A visitor's scan needs a little data to open the page, so on a site with no signal we put a tablet on the site wifi, or give the supervisor the staff app, which records scans offline and sends them when it finds a connection. The live board catches up then.
Yes. A visitor check-in system NZ sites can rely on has to say who was on site, when, who hosted them and whether they were inducted, and every visit here logs exactly that. Filter by date or person, export to a spreadsheet or PDF, and keep it for the period you set.
Each person sees only their own entry, never the names above theirs on a sheet. The data sits in encrypted storage with access by role: reception sees today's visitors, the safety manager sees history, nobody else sees anything. Retention follows your rule, and the form asks only for what you need.
Yes. Reception connects a label printer, and a badge prints as the visitor checks in, with name, company and host, so an unbadged person in the corridor stands out. For members and regular contractors, a digital pass on the phone does the same job without the printer. Both carry a scannable code.
Yes. A scan checks the booking, so the class roll comes from the same record, and a walk-in without a booking is offered a spare place. A scan also checks the waiver, so an expired one shows amber before they reach the floor. See online waiver system and booking system development.
